Colour scheme

Four easy ways to combine colours

Whether you want to combine one, two or three colours – harmonious selection is the golden rule. Our
four colour schemes will help you create atmospheric effects every time.

MONOCHROME

SENSATIONAL MONOCHROME

The monochrome look uses different shades of a single key colour. These nuanced tones create a more peaceful atmosphere in the bathroom in comparison with a solid colour design – and make it much easier to coordinate accessories.

COMPLEMENTARY

THE SUBTLE COMBINATION OF OPPOSITES

A complementary contrast involves choosing two colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel. One of the colours should be used as an accent, otherwise the effect can be too jarring.

ANALOGUE

NATURALNESS NURTURES STRENGTH

This concept uses colours directly adjacent to each other on the colour wheel. The analogue colour scheme is often found in nature; it is a harmonious, risk-free design style, especially if the strong colour is used as an accent alongside the calmer colour over larger areas.

TRIAD

THREE COLOURS WITH A BIG IMPACT

The triadic colour scheme is the boldest, using 3 colours from different sectors of the colour wheel. Muted colours, however, will ensure that the effect is never garish and striking, but instead looks harmonious.
